Reflecting

Updated: Jun 15

I am Having one of those moments-no hours, wait it's days where I find myself just reflecting on so many blessed moments in my life. I find myself smiling and then all of the sudden reality sets back in as the voices I hear are getting closer and more distinguished. The grand boys are playing around instead of sleeping, my husband is walking past me mumbling under his breathe, my daughter is shush...ing the boys to be quiet and then to top every thing off my computer is acting crazy again.

How can I find just one little corner to do my devotionals, thank you cards, answer emails and listen to all my voice mail?

I CANT!!! Not Here as I find myself sitting at a way to small of a desk and with a large stack of bills. I suddenly remember a verse from Psalm 6:2-4 Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am weak; O Lord, heal me, for my bones are troubled. Well by now I know there is more to this Psalm but I cant remember any more of the verses, so out comes my bible and as my fingers are turning the pages so I may read more of this psalm I felt water lightly falling on my face while my hair is blown back and up like a cockatail bird. It's raining up here in RSM with a few good gusts of wind. Of course, I jumped back and closed the window and proceeded to finish reading psalm 6 and concluding my so much of a quiet time by thanking the Lord for all I have and for each special person that He has blessed me with... Have a great week friends.

Joyfully,

Cindy
